The first two chapter/parts read fairly well and really intruige me. I found that the writing style is very unique and fitting for the genre and setting of the book but when it transitioned into the first person narratives, it kind of irked me, in a way. To be honest, I found it difficult to read the entire First Look. However I AM interested in finding out what happens next, although I can tell that there's likely going to be an annoying love triangle and/or a generally irritating romance.
On a positive note, I love the cover. It's bright, colourful and spellbinding and really drew me in.
