Good book at the wrong time
I received this book not long after I first watched The Greatest Showman, so I was quite eager to read something that kind of gave me the same kind of vibes, something freak show like, but once I actually got around to reading The Electrical Venus, I do not think that it appealed to me as much as it did when I first discovered it, it really is a shame, I had high hopes.
The one thing that I did enjoy about this book, however, is the romantic aspect of it, which I knew from the get go that I would.
''Is this starring role her true value, or is love worth more than a penny for an electrifying kiss?''
I knew this would keep me going throughout the book. Alex is a one armed boy who can't seem to help his ever growing feelings for Mim, who is The Electrical Venus, after being chosen to play the role by Dr. Fox.
