I'm a bit late to getting around to readi The Electrical Venus and honestly, I don't know why I didn't pick it up sooner. At 270ish pages, the book itself is tiny, yet it's full of so much story! I absolutely fell in love with the cover, it's eyecatching and colourful, yet not overwhelming. I loved all the little objects that i would later find out are references to the story. Mim is a great character, a little slow at times which is contradictory to her thirst for knowledge. Alex is an absolute sweetheart, i wish he had told her from the get go how he felt. Not a fan of Sebastien though! I loved the way this book was written. Switching point of views between Alex and Mim (and the odd poster) you get to see a few different sides of the story.
