The art on the cover is really good, I didn't notice the noose at 1st. I found the start of the story really relatable to anyone who has had fertility problems, especially the feeling of failure, even though it is set in such a different time. I would like to read the book to find out why Richard hid the letter and also to see how the witchcraft story develops. It seems like a real page turner as there was a lot going on in the 1st 2 chapters.
