I love the cover, beautiful at first glance, then sinister as the noose jumps out. Fleetwood reminds me of Ursula Flight, perhaps because of the time period being similar, though I am glad that she has what, at least for now, seems to be a happy marriage. I'm tired of women being married to tyrants in historical fiction! I can sense the peril already and am keen to read on.
