The first impression of The Familiars was rich with atmosphere, emotion and tension. We’re drawn into Fleetwood’s life instantly, her fears and concerns become our own. I loved the writing, it is poignant and exquisite, with a power to capture the essence of the time period and reel the reader deep into the story!! I LOVED it!
