I have seen a lot of buzz on social media about this novel, and thanks for this little taster, as it proved to be not my cup of tea. The cover is an absolute stunner! I liked the setting of this book, 1612 sounds really intriguing and I liked that it is written in easy and understandable language and didn't use the language normally found in 1800 classics. It actually is scary to read this book, a girl who is 17, married for 4 years with 3 stillborns, it's just creepy, and her husband would do anything for a child, even if she has to die... It just clashes with my beliefs...
