What a wonderful, colourful tale! The cover is beautiful and sets the scene of the herbs that give these women power and ultimately cause their demise

Stacey Halls blends historical events and real people with a fictional tale in such a beautiful tapestry of likeable human characters.

This book explores the power of women in the 1600s, or lack of it, the class and wealth divide and what it means to be a witch. It looks at the role of women in relation to their husbands and the power men held over their wives and mistresses. It reminds us how lucky we are today to be moving closer to equality and to have access to advanced healthcare.

A pleasure to read and I can’t wait to read Stacey’s new book.
