The author's other book The foundling brought me here and it is an amazing story so far, I will definitely be buying it to see how it finishes. I like the witchcraft aspect of it. the style of the front cover is lovely and fits well into the story especially how she has included the little map of the area, I always find that they are helpful.
The story so far is very interesting, including the letter which was the main focus at the beginning of this story and the end of the extract which really leaves it on a cliff hanger. The characters are well written and are properly introduced, I can clearly imagine what they look like and what the environment is supposed to look like based on the times.
