I rescued my copy from a used book store at Blickling Hall in Norfolk and I am so glad I did!
The book was beautiful, I really enjoyed every minute. It took me 4 days to read, spending my lunch breaks, toilet stops, reading before bed and not forgetting reading in the tub...every moment that I could cram in some more of this wonderful story, I did!
I felt completely invested in the lives of Alice and Fleetwood and couldn't bare the thought of them separated.
The Familiars is really worth the read and the pride of place on your book shelf!!
I cannot wait for the Founding to be released!!
