This is the story of Fleetwood Shuttleworth and her misfortune to have a child, getting caught up in the Pendle witch trials in order to try and save herself, her unborn baby, and her closest friend.
It’s not the usual sort of book that I read, not as gripping as I would have liked but I did still want to read on and know what happened. I wanted to know if they would survive or not, and the makings of a good book are paramount with how much you connect with the characters.
The cover is also absolutely gorgeous and makes it a stunning book to have on your book shelf; I think I’d definitely recommend this to my family and friends to read as well.
