If you love books with a bit of witchcraft mixed in then you really need to read this.
A woman has her third stillborn and her husband keeps a letter that has come from the doctor away from her.
She happens to come upon it one day and finds out he believes she cannot have no more children as it may kill her off.
She happens upon a young girl who says she is a midwife and can help her have another child that will live.
A pinch of mystery and witchcraft is befallen on this new midwife and really brings the story alive.
It’s an easy read and I found it really hard to put down so can easily be read in a day or so.
This author is really going places and I recommend anyone who comes across any of her books to pick them up and devour them.
