I didn't hear much about this book when I came across it in a bookstore. The cover drew me in pretty much right away and after reading the blurb I thought I would give it a try. This story is about a 17 year old girl who is married to this older man and she is currently pregnant for the 4th time. After she has lost 3 previous baby's she decides that she needs help and when she comes across a young woman, who claims she can help her reach full-term, she decides to let her help.
I really liked this story. It takes place in a different time where witches are hunted and killed when discovered. I liked the main character although I thought she could have used some backbone sometimes and I felt like she should voice her true opinion more often. But I suppose that is also from that time.
I enjoyed it well enough and the story kept me interested throughout. I liked the writing style as well as it was very easy to follow.
