I was given a copy of this book by a friend who recommended it. I am not a
huge fan of historical style novels but as it was recommended I thought I
would give it a go! This is the first novel by this author and I was impressed
with the style of writing. The characters are built upon and the links become
clear between the personalities. I felt sorry at times for the main character but
i put this down to the skill of the author! I found the author's way of linking
the different times and the characters very clever whilst maintaining the flow
of the story. I would definitley look to read this author again and would
recommend this story to others to read - I really hope there is a sequel.
