I loved every second of this book. It was gripping, exciting, intriguing and much more.
Fleetwood was a wonderful character who proved herself to be a strong woman who had a voice she was adamant in using. Even going what she went through and was still going through in the book, she finds strength.
Her character was a joy to read about and her determination was something to be admired.
I loved the story and how the Pendle witch trials was roped in to it and the atrocities faced in that time during the oppression of women.
It was a wonderful debut and I'll definitely be picking up the next book of Stacey Halls. Nothing else to say but brilliant writing and cast of characters and such a quick read as well. I was thoroughly enjoying it and never got bored once.
