The cover of this book drew me towards this.
This isn’t my normal kind of book but glad that I have read it as was enjoyable.
The man character is Fleetward Shuttlewood, she is 17 and on her 4th pregnancy but unfortunately none of her babies are live, her husband is becoming increasingly troubled as he wants an heir but Fleetwood found a letter that her husband had hidden saying that another pregnancy would be her last.
Fleetwood brings to use natural remedies as she really wants to please her husband by delivering his heir but this is all going on during the witch trials and of course Fleetwood comes under suspension of being a witch herself.
This is one of those books that is hard to put down as you keep promising yourself one more chapter but every time you get to the end you want to know the next bit, would highly recommend this one and if it’s not your normal genre it is definitely worth giving it a try
