This isn’t my sort of book at all however something about it captivated me. I loved the beautiful cover, the name and despite not particularly being a fan of fantasy fiction the blurb gripped me. I then went on to win a signed copy of it in a raffle so I was beyond excited and delighted to finally read it and wow I wasn’t disappointed.
The writing is magical and enchanting and I found myself devouring large chunks of this wonderful book at a time. I loved how the story showed a mother’s fight and strength when protecting her own. I was captivated throughout and felt like I was part of that world. I’ve since recommended this wonderful book to all of my friends and it is one which will stay with me for a very long time.
