I'll be quiet honest. I thought this was one of the worst books that I read in 2021.
The writing style is so clunky and slow. It felt to me it needed another edit as far too much unnecessary chapters that didnt lend themselves to the story.
The actual plot itself is borderline ridiculous, I didnt feel for her at all. I just couldnt jive with it. I should have given up and DNF this book but instead I went on. I normally don't give such low reviews but it was such a bad read. Itd made no lasting impression on me accept the overriding feeling of time lost. This is just my opinion and I whole heartedly suggest you read this book to make your own opinion on it.
So good points about this book is the premise sounded promising and aspects of the setting where well done and could at times be immersive.
Overall I just didnt in the slightest enjoy this book and thus the few good points do not out weigh the bad
