I loved this story. I have never read anything set such a long time ago so this was a first for me and I loved it. The language was really delicate and painted a picture wonderfully. I really enjoyed picturing the costumes and the houses in my head and imagining what each scene looked like.
The story itself was lovely too, about friendship and kindness.
The end pages and the cover are absolutely stunning and I can wait for the authors next book as it is just as beautiful.
