The phrasing Cruel Intentions meets Talented Mr Ripley instantly had me wanting to read this book. From the opening pages, it's difficult to see where this story will lead, but already there is an undercurrent of pretense, of the main character wishing desperately to belong to a sect of wealthy, erudite individuals and prove the world wrong. I would love to read more as I sense twists and unfortunate events around the corner!
