I was intrigued by the book description and my interest increased when the location of Venice was introduced as that is a city I've visited and can say has the perfect atmosphere for a mystery. The writing is assured and flows well. I wonder whether the interaction between Ada and the other members of the group is going to remain the focus or whether they're just going to become a list of suspects in traditional murder mystery style.
