I liked the backstory a lot and I really liked learning about her relationships, particularly with her parents. Her and her dad’s relationship seemed very pure and warming whereas her and her mother’s turned cold. There was a moment where she vowed never to become her mother and I thought that was moving. There were lots of pretty descriptions and similes that I liked. I don’t know what to expect and I’m interested in finding out more.
