I found the story following the early life of Ada Howell who moved from rural Wales to London following the death of her father me being. The early chapters set the scene of the move and her relationship with her mother. Ada planned to take a gap year before going to university and to visit Italy and study the art and culture in Venice. I think Ada's story could be interesting.
