The opening chapters are very descriptive and beautifully written. I think I also enjoyed it more because it starts off set in Carmarthenshire, where I live, so I can relate to some of the places the author talks about. The story seems quite intriguing and feels like it could be quite romantic. Overall, I think this book gives a good first impression and I would like to continue reading.
