Love receiving a copy of this book. Not the type of read I would usually pick up but was so glad that I took the opportunity to read it.

Ada Howell at a very young age looses her dad, the only parent that she felt a connection with even though she was not biologically his.

I loved the style of the authors writing, descriptive but not in a overbearing way what you just want them to get on with the story.

Ada with the help of a godparent finds herself in Italy on tour with a group that she clearly wants to be part of but feels that she is below them not having the same education due to the death of her father and subsequent move from the family home.

She spend a lot of time at the start of the trip thinking more about here fellow travellers than here actual surrounds, but then a death.

I don’t wish to spoil this book but I think it has something for everyone, There is sorrow, intrigue, mystery, romance, family ties......... It made a excellent read and I am so glad I did.
