I really didn't see that coming. At all. Honestly it was all bit woah. But I liked the read. The fact that it wasn't all glam and shimmer made it a better mystery. There was a struggle with identity for Ada and I felt that. A good murder mystery but the way it ended. I'm still grimacing. The justifications of what happened was so petty. It was just a no. The characters changed a lot but I guess it was because they all grew up. I see Ada's resentment for her mother but her mother wasn't all to blame if you get me, she just wanted a chance to start over. But Ada didn't want that. She had realistic circumstances with money - except for the fact she got to go to Rome paid by her godmother. She felt left out and wanted to fit in with people who just weren't her. She had constant threats. How she kept a lie up for almost 10 years I don't know. But I felt like her youth was wasted.
