This is the story of the Grand Tour reimagined for the Modern Age mainly from the character Ada Howell’s perspective. A group of young people experiencing the art, culture and atmosphere of Italian delights including Florence, Rome and Venice. But there is a twist of Lie, Deceive, Mislead as the story unfolds from their adolescent travels through to the modern day and further revelations.
This is a debut adult novel by the author and I hope there are more to come. I enjoyed her writing style, twists and turns in plot and the overall pace of the book. The detail of the Italianate artwork and architecture was well researched and executed. This is followed through in the cover.
