----- I started reading this book with minimal expectations due to the fact that it isn't the typical genre I usually read. However, it didn't disappoint. I loved all the characters and their different viewpoints throughout the novel. There were so many different scenes in this story that really hit hard to my feelings but was such an awe-inspiring story that I couldn't put it down.
----- The world-building was amazing and I could picture in detail exactly the setting which was being described in every scene. However, there were moments I felt the pace of the novel slowed down (not enough to bore the reader, but definitely enough to be noticeable.) it is understandable that there will be pace changes throughout the storyline, but these seemed to be more noticeable than others.
----- Overall, it was a good rainy day read with enough drama to keep me entertained.
