I received an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review. My thanks go to Readers First, the publisher and the author.

I found the book to be an enjoyable read overall.

The book begins with us meeting Ada, at the age of thirteen Ada lost her father to cancer. As a result she feels she has missed out and lost the “should have been”. We continue to follow Ada throughout her life, the recurrence of her not having the life she was entitled to is a common theme.
As always with books from this genre there are lots of clues, false clues and mind bending twists that make for a great enjoyable read that really has you thinking and trying to work out what’s going on.

I felt the middle of the book lost pace somewhat but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the novel, the beginning of the book is very much aimed at firing information at you and the latter part is the twists and tying it all together but the middle just feels a little slow.
