I really liked the cover of this book and it made me want to pick it up and discover more. Following reading the extract describing the plot I couldn't wait to read more but initially I found I had to really concentrate to understand the style of writing and kept going back a page to remind myself of the characters, friendship dynamics and the authors descriptions of them. This is a complex story with a well written plot by the author. The book kept my attention and and drew me into the storyline, with surprises at one point (I won't ruin it!) and as the reader I was kept guessing throughout. I never really warmed to the main character Ada. This book is definitely an interesting read and I would recommend it to others, although I struggled slightly with this style of writing others may not! I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
