I enjoyed this book it follows the story of Ada Howell who at the age of thirteen not only lost her father bit the life she felt she was destined to lead. At eighteen she is given a chance to go on an art history trip to Italy with a group called the Dilettantes after her wealthy godmother pays for her. This is the chance that Ada wants to fit in with the wealthy and when one of them dies in suspicious circumstances she thinks she is doing them a favour by covering it up. She uses this favour to bind her to the group as they leave Italy and get on with their lives, to help her with what she wants in her future. This book is full so intriguing that you are gripped to the end especially when they all return some years later when the parents of the victim organise a get together on what would have been the victims 30th birthday. A book I would recommend you read
