This had me hooked from the start and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this book. It has already taken me back to my time in Venice, a city I would love to go back to!
There does seem to be a lot of characters all with varying intriguing personalities so should be easy enough to get to grips with them all.
I was also loving the descriptive and easy flow the writing has, as I was first submerged into a beautiful albiet neglected country house and now I'm left hoping the protagonist does manage to return it back into her family and bring back it's soul as I felt it's soul was stripped when it was sold.
I have also definitely been left wanting more, and wanting to find out what twists and turns lie ahead as there is most certainly a feeling of deceit and hidden secrets to be revealed, maybe something sinister lies ahead whilst she is in Venice?
