The story was exceptionally well-written. This is a book that moves slowly, and the first three chapters are more descriptive, but the author has done an outstanding job of explaining it. The plot follows Ada after she loses her father and is forced to move to London, but then travels to Venice, Italy. There are many historical aspects in this book as well, which if you enjoy reading, you will enjoy reading this ; however, since this isn't a genre and the style of writing i would normally go for, I was not particularly interested.

It might differ for different people, but I found it to be very wordy and long in places, which bored me rather than piqued my interest in what was going to happen next. Many people would enjoy this novel. I believe that maybe this is the type of book that develops after a couple of chapters, so after reading more than i did, this book could get quite interested.
