First of all the cover to this book is beautiful - it gives me dark academic vibes which I absolutely adore. And another part to this book that I really like is the dedication/quote page - I also loves books which have these beautiful quotes which may sum up the book too.
So the book, initially I wasn’t really a major fan of the main character - she had a lot of character development to go through before I even remotely started to like her. But as the book develops, so does she; and by the time I was about half way through I liked her far more.
A very classic dark academic, new school, society story with dark plots and twists and turns - so if that’s what you enjoy this is the book for you. I do appreciate a storyline with these vibes, however it does seem a bit same-old as to other books that would fall within this category.
