I think the overall plot of this book was written well and I was definitely surprised by the book's twist. However, I found it quite difficult to get into the book. The book took a while to properly start and the beginning of the book felt a bit boring to read, and a bit forced at some points. I agree with other reviews saying that the characters were unlikeable, and I didn't find anything in the book to set the characters apart, or any uniqueness to them. It seemed their only traits were being rude and entitled. The characters also never seem to develop any other traits and there is barely any character development throughout the book. I really enjoyed the concept of the book, the girl who tries to change herself to fit in. I think the concept is very relatable as we've all tried to change ourselves to fit in with the people we admire. But for me, Ada seemed more and more entitled and self obsessed the further into the book I got which was unfortunate and unappealing but it fit well with her character. I have given this book a 3/5 because although I enjoyed the book, the characters really bothered me throughout me reading it. Thank you to Readers First for sending me this book.
