Definitely a winning FI with snappy prose, plenty of comedy moments and two leads with a very modern outlook. The dual narrative immediately appeals with a chance to get to know both protagonists however whilst I found Beth’s first-person account made for smooth reading I was far more sceptical about Leon’s style and am worried that it might begin to grate the longer the story goes on.
Overall however this just feels like a reading treat - with humour and embarrassing moments aplenty!
