The Flat Share tells the story of Tiffany and Leon; they share a flat, they even share a bed, but they have never met. Leon uses the flat during the day and Tiffany stays there at night. Neither one has met the other and yet they find themselves falling in love.

I really enjoyed the way that the characters communicate through notes left in the kitchen and the author's ability to portray their characters through these notes. It gave me a sense of who Beth and Leon were and I thought it was a clever way of telling the reader more about them.

My criticism of the book would be that it was predictable and that the premise was somewhat unbelievable. That said, I still enjoyed it and found it sweet, easy to read, and moving in places. It was on one hand a fluffy romance but on the other dealt with the more serious topics of abusive relationships and a family member in prison. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light and fun read.
