I’d heard a lot of good things about this book and thought I would give it a go while it was on offer.
It isn’t the type of book I normally read at all, so was unsure if I would like it.
It wasn’t too cheesy or soppy rom com style which is good.
I found it so easy to read, the characters of Tiffy and Leon are great and it’s lovely to see their relationship unfold through post it notes. I found I really warmed to them both and enjoyed their characters.
Parts of it are quite funny but it also deals with some more serious issues, such as emotional abuse and gaslighting.
The idea of Tiffy and Leon living together but not meeting was something different and although some parts were predictable I enjoyed the book.
It’s a light, funny read and would recommend it.
A great debut novel by Beth O’Leary and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more books from this author!
