I had seen this book on IG and Booktube for so long and I had seen so many good reviews about it that I was quite excited to see what I thought about The Flatshare myself.
Well, the hype is real and I loved this book so much too!
The situation we find at the beginning of this book is quite unusual, weird and quite uncomfortable. Would you share a bed with someone you don't know and have never seen just to save a little bit of money?
I am not sure what I'd do but I loved that our two main characters did because they gave a fun, entertained, amusing and super cute story!
I liked both main characters, Tiffy and Leon. I loved how in their chapters made reference to each other but had never met. It was so funny to see what they thought about the other person that I just couldn't stop turning the pages!
I laughed out loud plenty of times! I had such a good time reading this book. I loved very much how the situation developed. How they "learnt" to live with each other, despite the situation and how their lives came together eventually.
I also liked the fact that you could easily tell who was narrating the story. The chapters narrated by Tiffy, which were my favourites, to be honest, were written in a very different way to Leon's and I could see their personality embodied in the book very professionally done.
Soon enough the situation became a little bit more complicated than that but I loved how Beth O'Leary dealt with everything. I could feel the love and care she had for this book behind every scene described in the story and that made me love this book even more.
I got to a point in which I was slowing my reading pace because I didn't want this book to end. Ever! I became so involved in Tiffy and Leon's life, in their relationship, in their struggles and their successes that I wanted to be a part of that for a little bit longer!
There were a few things that I could see coming but they were so cute and well done and it was such a pleasure to read them that I didn't even mind to have predicted them at all!
The last few pages are just perfect. The ideal close up to this story and I could not be more satisfied with this book.
I never thought I could like this book that much but I sure did! 5/5⭐ and that's because I can't give it more!
