This is such a brilliant read. For the 'chick lit' genre it is one of the very best. Such a sweet story with lots of excellent subplots.
I loved both Tiffy and Leon and warmed to them both really quickly. The subplot regarding Leon's brother Ritchie was really good. I loved that the book didnt steer clear of heavier issues and the domestic abuse storyline was well executed with Tiffy's awful ex-boyfriend.
I think this would make a brilliant feel good film. The only part I struggled with initially was the writing style used for Leon. I did get used to it a few chapters in and it did contribute to Leon's character.
I cant wait to read other books by this author! All lovers of light, fun books must read this and those who think they dont like this genre should give this a try as I think you would be pleasantly surprised.
