This is a modern love story. Tiffy needs to move out of her ex-boyfriends place but can’t afford a place of her own and Leon needs extra money so advertises his flat for a flat share. But Leon works nights and Tiffy works during the day so they have never met each other and communicate only through post it notes.
This was a great debut novel for Beth O’Leary and a fab, easy going, feel good chick lit. A lot happens in Tiffy’s life but it still comes across as very relatable. I liked how we get the point of view of both Tiffy and Leon and there have been a lot of comments regarding the writing style of Leon’s chapters but I personally didn’t mind this and I took it as an insight into their differing inner monaglogue.
