It’s a really easy and flowing read that kept my attention. The characters are charming and the plot is brilliant.
Having the duel narrative allows the story to progress much better than had the reader simply followed the one voice.
I willed for the ending and I would have preferred it to kick in just a little sooner, but I guess that leaves it open for a sequel, should the writer chose to.
It’ll make for the perfect beachside read for those who have some time to themselves over the next few months and it will be a book people will recommend, lend out and be talking about for years to come. Perhaps it would also make for a charming film or mini series for somewhere like Netflix.
