Another book that I just couldn't put down. It's a cute little romance, which is always an easy read but I think the best part of the book is that it raises awareness of gaslighting and emotional abuse that someone can suffer in a relationship, and the protagonist becoming aware that she had suffered through this, and also was able to move in. But it also highlights, in a minor character, that it's always not easy and you often find yourself in a similar relationship, but again you can move on. I felt this awareness made the book for me, and it certainly highlights the way that someone can be abusive without being physical.
Tiffy and Leon were both likeable characters with a surprising link between them, which made it all the more interesting. Beth O'Leary has quickly become one of my favourite authors of 2021 and is a must read for anybody looking for that comfort read book and author!
