An Ok Read

This was an ok read for me, I did enjoy it but in my opinion it does not live up to all the hype that is has. It took me a good 150 pages to get into the style of writing that O’Leary uses for Leon’s chapters and I still can’t say that I love it. I find that the dialogue is difficult to follow and that there isn’t really any flow to the writing.

That being said I loved Tiffy I think that she is a brilliant character that isn’t scared to be herself and go after what she wants. Once I warmed up to Leon I thought he was a cute character but that he needed more development because there were some inconsistencies in his behaviour.

I think that the actual romance in this book was really cute and paced nicely, I liked the originality of the concept and how the pair got to know each other through note swapping. It was good that there were other focuses than just the romance because if there weren’t I think it would have been a bit boring. I absolutely loved Richie’s character I thought he was really funny

For all my spicy book lovers out there this is a ‘fade to black’ book I’m afraid, with there only being some kissing so you won’t be getting your spice fix here.
