Randomly picked this up in Sainsbury’s and best decision I’ve ever made. For a debut novel this was such an entertaining and unique book. I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it that much but it exceeded my expectations. I loved the side plot of Leon’s brother being in jail for a crime he did not commit which is so sad and is something that happens in this day. I was waiting for when he would be released and I was so happy. I liked how it was written in both POVs because I just need to know what both characters are thinking. Tiffy was such a quirky character I love her. When Leon was nervous to meet Tiffy I thought it was so cute and made me love him even more. This also radiated British humour. I really enjoyed the way they communicated with the notes and how they would do little things for each other e.g clean the house. I loved everything about this story and would definitely be reading Beth’s other releases.
