The characters were incredibly hilarious and the plot was to die for. The will-they-won’t-they narrative style was captivating, and the switching perspectives only built tension. The writing style for each character’s POV changed dramatically which helped to immerse me in the story and feel sympathy for the highs and lows as Tiffy and Leon navigate their whirlwind situation. Tiffy’s friends added a comedic, choral twist and acted as the reader’s mouthpiece which made the book feel so very real. The contemporary style and use of post-it notes was a very cute addition, and the characters never felt flat or 2-dimensional, especially the female ones. The romantic elements were well-written and enchanting, and interruptions and twists were perfectly comedically timed and lent themselves to a page-turner that everybody has to read.
