A unique love story based in realism and totally believable and easy to root for!
The premise is fantastic, the idea of Flatshare with a twist is not only clever, but believable and makes me wish I had experienced this myself. The love story is genuine and realistic without being too romanticised. It made me feel like I was really living in the UK! In addition, the voices of the characters are distinct and I swear, even without the audiobook edition, I could clearly hear the way that would have spoken the dialogue or even the way they would have written and read the notes they scattered around the house as a means of communication.
What I loved most about this book was not only was it a page-turner and a super easy read, but it also addressed deeper issues in our society today in an effortless way. It was woven into the fabric of the love story and it gave me chills and had me wanting to give the heroine a big hug! 5 stars plus and I'm reading all of Beth O'Leary's other books too!
