The moment I read the first few pages, I knew this book would be the perfect holiday read. The story of Tiffy and Leon's unconventional flatshare arrangement is so absurd but so believable in a city as extortionate overpriced as London. The writer has a whimsical and distinct way of writing, clearly differentiating between Tiffy and Leon, creating strong personalities with loveable quirks - Tiffy with her artsy waffling and emotional brokenness and Leon - to the point, concise and almost like he thinks in medical note format. Although I was worried this would be a bland, over the top romance and the ending was utterly predictable, the events leading up to it were a perfect mix of life's ups and downs.
