I read this book in less than a day and fell in love with the main characters, the story and the romance in this book.
It dealt with the emotional abuse of Tiffy’s past relationship and was an interesting take. I was so glad there was a certain strength in Tiffy’s character and her support group, it is often easier to see it when it isn’t your own relationship.
The writing was extremely clever and I loved how Leon’s parts were written, as he starts opening up more with Tiffy the sentences are more descriptive and more personal pronouns are used, you get to see him open up more and more through the writing of his point of view in his chapters.
This was fine first book of Beth O’Learys that I had read but she I’d definitely firmly on my list of authors to watch.
