I read this book within a day and it warmed every inch of my body.
It was your typical romance but with some little darker moments - we always know that when we have a boy meets girl, there's always a crazy ex or some baggage they have to deal with before they can live happily ever after and this book is no exception.
However, the cuteness of this book heavily outweighs the baggage of their past and it makes for a very easy and lovely read.
I'm very glad I found this book and I will definitely be reading other books by Beth O'Leary. I consider her to be better than the likes of Jojo Moyes.
That's not to say however that Moyes isn't a brilliant storyteller and love story author; I've read a lot of Moyes, however O'Leary brings something new to the table with The Flatshare and I enjoyed it to the point where I couldn't put it down. That's an achievement as it is!
